ActionCOACH Foundation Looks to Raise $50,000 to
Provide Free Business Education for 1,000 Students
LAS VEGAS--October 1, 2021--ActionCOACH Foundation kicked off its End-of-Year Fundraising Campaign today with its first 'Foundation Fridays' video blast, announcing the campaign goal and upcoming events.
The goal? To raise $50,000 by Nov. 12th. The funds will provide three months of free business education to 1,000 students around the world. The free YESS Business Basics program is designed to inspire youth to think bigger, igniting the spirit of entrepreneurialism in 12- to 22-year-olds regardless of income level or career path.
Investing in these young adults is truly an investment in the future of our communities, helping elevate the level of business education, innovation and potential for local job growth. After all, education and job growth, particularly in a post-Covid world, are the best drivers of long-term economic growth and personal wellbeing for all.
ActionCOACH Foundation Board Chair, Doug Winnie, weighed in. “Becoming an entrepreneur has changed my life in amazing ways. I am happy to be a part of an organization that is now giving that same opportunity to young adults all over the world."
The YESS Young Entrepreneur Smart Start program was launched in mid-February of this year. Over 500 students have already enrolled in the introductory 12-week course. Over 300 students are currently enrolled, including 200 in two international groups for students without other affiliations and three local schools in Lithuania, Aruba and Houston, Texas. The Foundation has raised $70,000 since its inception.
To help raise awareness of its two programs--YESS Young Entrepreneur Smart Start for youth and 'Coaching for a Cause' free business coaching for nonprofit leadership--the Foundation will be sharing inspirational videos and educational workshops each week through its 'Foundation Fridays' posts on Facebook throughout the seven-week campaign.
